The Museum of East Alabama invite you to enjoy the tastes of Opelika during the 6th annual Taste of the Town on Tuesday, April 24 from 6 - 8 at the Museum of East Alabama in downtown Opelika.
The Taste of the Town will feature 17 local eateries and wineries for attendees to sample from, including Acre, Amsterdam Café, Butcher Paper Barbecue, Café 123, Chicken Salad Chick, Irish Bred Pub, Jefferson’s, La Cantina, Longhorn, O Town Ice Cream, Outback Steakhouse, Niffer’s, Southern Hospitality Catering, Sweet Malisa’s, Ursula’s Catering, Zazu and Zoe’s.
Warm Springs Winery will also be in attendance, along with Mama Mocha's Coffee Emporium and Toomer's Lemonade.
The museum will be open for guests to peruse during the event and there will be a silent auction for guests to participate in.
Taste of the Town serves as a fundraiser benefitting the museum. Sponsors include Auburn Bank, Glynn Smith Chevrolet, Henry J. Stern Family Foundation, J. Smith Lanier & Co, Opelika Observer and Smith T. Building Supply.
Tickets for the event are $25 and are available at the museum or online at eastalabama.org. The Museum of East Alabama is located at 121 South 9th Street. Hours are Tuesday to Friday 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. and Saturday 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The museum is closed Sundays and Mondays. For further information call 334.749.2751.
